JULIANA DORE
I am not only a designer but an artist. Since I can remember all I wanted to do was draw and paint, this turned into my love of design and wanting to own my own business and be a designer. I love to design elegant, unique designs which are often inspired by my love of flowers and the environment. In 2022, I completed a Bachelor of Business (Management) / Bachelor of Design (Fashion).
Since finishing my degree I have been designing and developing sustainable gowns and accessories with the help of my mum. I have also been helping clients with their design needs.
About Juliana Doré bridal wear
After I finished my business and fashion degree in 2022, I noticed that many people had their wedding dresses gathering dust at the back of their cupboards, unsure of what to do with them.
I decided to visit my local op shop and bought a secondhand wedding dress. I experimented to see if I could create something new with it. This was very successful so I decided to source some more.
I asked the local community whether they had any wedding dresses and materials they were willing to give away to create new garments. I had an overwhelming response and received many donations. Since then, my mum and I have been creating new bridal dresses and accessories from these materials. I am so happy to now share these pieces with you!
